2012/2013 Teen Pregnancy Prevention Needs Assessment
The Healthy Youth Partnership is in the process of conducing a community-wide needs assessment to better understand the supports and barriers within our community to prevent teen pregnancy. With our needs assessment, we will be collecting data from teens, parents, and providers to determine what risk factors are most prevalent in the greater Austin community to assist our coalition and partner agencies in designing effective intervention strategies.
The HYP Needs Assessment Advisory Team meets monthly to provide insight and feedback into the planning process and assist with one or more of the following: implementation of focus groups, survey administration, data transcription, and data analysis.

Surveys for Youth-Serving Professionals
Through the needs assessment, HYP is gathering information from multiple groups of individuals including youth, parents, service providers, medical professionals and educators. The information will be used to inform and guide the development of more comprehensive and collaborative teen pregnancy prevention services in Austin.
We have developed multiple surveys for various professions, including service providers, medical professionals and educators. The online surveys will be emailed out through the HYP email list. The survey is anonymous and confidential. There are no risks to participating in the survey nor is there any immediate benefit to you. The survey should take approximately ten minutes of your time.
