Leadership Development Academy

The HYP Leadership Development Academy is a new, free personalized professional development program designed for youth service providers interested in advancing their careers or getting more involved in the Healthy Youth Partnership. The LDA occurs every other year and is open to any youth-serving professional. 

This 4-Month Program Involves:
  • A total of just 6 meetings
  • An assessment of your strengths
  • A collaborative group project designed and directed by YOU!
  • Individualized professional/personal development opportunities
  • A professional mentor selected based on your goals
  • The opportunity to contribute to HYP!
Participants in the Leadership Development Academy will gain the following skills:
  • Program planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Meeting facilitation
  • Collaborative decision-making
  • Public speaking
