HYP Provider Conference: 5 things to know before you go!
The 7th Annual HYP Provider Conference is TOMORROW! We're excited you're joining us for a day of interactive sessions about intersectionality and responding to oppressive systems to ensure all youth voices are valued.
Before the event, here are 5 things you should know to get the most out of your experience:
1. Change in Keynote Speaker Our keynote speaker, Dr. Daina Ramey Berry, recently informed us she will not be able to join us because of a family emergency. We're excited to announce Courtney Jones from the Change 1 Youth Development Institute will deliver our keynote address "It Takes a Village: Best Practices for Intersectional Work with Youth". Click here to learn more!
2. The conference is paperless The conference schedule, programs, and evaluations are online. Be sure to bring your smartphone or tablet so you can help us do our part to reduce waste. A limited number of paper schedules and evaluations will be available for attendees without a smartphone or tablet.
3. There's an app! Because the event is paperless, the schedule and session evaluations are all on our web-based app, Sched. Click here to launch the app. You can access the Sched from any browser at raisetheirvoice.sched.com. For more information about using Sched including how to create a custom schedule, check out this cool video!
4. Where to park at ACC Eastview The 7th Annual HYP Provider Conference is at the Austin Community College Eastview Campus - 3101 Webberville Road. Free parking is available on Webberville Road and in parking lots G, F, or D. Please do not park in parking lots or spaces designated for faculty and staff. Registration is located at the entrance to the 8000 building off of parking lot G.
