OASH Mobilization for Health Award
Through the Mobilization for Health: National Prevention Partnership Award, HYP increased the capacity of the Central Texas community to provide evidence-based sexual health programs to youth through two mechanisms: 1) direct programming to youth to support health promotion, risk reduction and healthier lifestyle choices utilizing a trauma-informed perspective; and 2) improvement on systems by providing professional development and collaboration opportunities for youth-serving professionals. The Texas Institute for Child & Family Wellbeing coordinated direct service implementation and conducted the evaluation of the direct service and professional development offerings.
